The Last Thing…

For want of something different and to give you a different view of our lives, here are some of our lasts…


The last meal we shared: granola and/or strategically layered cereal.

The last movie we watched: Gladiator (quite gory, wouldn’t recommend for sensitive eyes/stomachs)

Last book we read together: the Bible (for devotions)

Last laugh: over our cat Callisto after D ambushed her (if a cat could scream, that’s what she was doing)

Last tease: D got me to go along with 5% of my income plus 6% of his being a total of 11% of our collective income (it took me a bit to figure out why he was laughing at me).

Last exercise: a brisk morning walk.

Last tea we shared: Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Vanilla

Last big excitement: getting to see our friends and their brand new baby boy.

Last disappointment: seeing some of our stocks fall.

Last plan we discussed: going to buy plants for our garden.

Last snack we shared: chips and salsa.

Last complaint we shared: work (tedious testing for D, the usual for me)

Last maladies: D’s swelling lip, allergies and my infected sore (we’re fine though!)

Last big bargain: saving $68 on our groceries with coupons and in-store savings!

Last revelation: the awesomeness of Roth IRA’s.

The last place we kissed: the bathroom this morning while saying goodbye.

Last thing we said to each other: “I love you, bye.”
