Curiousity

A is developing quite the sense of curiosity.  Like most 5-month-old babies she wants to touch, feel and mouth everything within reach.  She also doesn't want to give her new-found treasures up or be told she cannot grab them.  Really?  Babies start showing a strong will this young?  Oh boy!  Below are videos of her discovering a granola bar wrapper, what she can reach while sitting on her play mat, and her new shoes.

D and I are curious to see what kind of junk will be for sale in our neighborhood and a couple nearby this Saturday.  We've got a few things we are actually seeking, but mostly we just want to browse.  Hopefully we won't come home with too much though.  We just finished purging things from our office/spare bedroom and are trying to get it all organized.  The garage is next.  Maybe I'll just kindly remind D of that if he finds too many treasures.  He can kindly remind me that we have plenty of baby stuff.  I hope to find books for A and maybe a seat or trailer for her so that she can accompany us on bikes when she's a bit bigger.  The weather is supposed to be fine this weekend and it may soon start getting consistently pleasant here.  Yay!
